The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and growth objectives. This position will proactively generate, profile, and qualify new and existing customer sales opportunities in collaboration with the outside sales team. Providing solution selling options through keen product/technical knowledge is key to this position.

Main Responsibilities:

Work with the Sales Organization to generate leads, engage with inactive customers, and provide selling specifications.

Provide follow-up activities related to quotes to increase quote conversion rates.

Maintain Tier One level technical knowledge of the entire product portfolio, with the goal of increasing to Tier Two level within 1 year, Tier Two within 2 years.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Hunter mentality- Create outbound call lists from inactive and/or cold accounts using tools such as LinkedIn, internal databases, etc.
  • Use consultative prospecting skills to identify and deliver high-quality B2B leads to sales team with the goal of determining if the prospect fits the buying criteria (Budget, Authority, Needs, Pain, Timeline).
  • Work closely with account executives to ensure a smooth transition of information and feedback from qualified leads.
  • Contact customers via email and with email campaigns; manage and complete outbound calls and campaigns.
  • Prepare technical quotes for projects and submission.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

Experience:

≥ 4 years in manufacturing inside sales/customer service or combination of education and experience
