The Strategic Marketing Manager is a member of the leadership team that develops the U.S. business plan and leads the marketing strategy & tactical execution supporting the business plan objectives. I. Position Summary:

The Strategic Marketing Manager is a member of the leadership team that develops the U.S. business plan and leads the marketing strategy & tactical execution supporting the business plan objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong business and systems thinker who utilizes marketing best practices to achieve business results.

II. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of professionals within the Marketing department and act as a change agent to evolve to an optimized revenue marketing team.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy for the US market to position the organization as a thought leader and show revenue from marketing initiatives.
    • Implement best practices in demand generation that focus on customer vale positioning and messaging.
    • Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision.
    • Establish processes for repeatable multi-sales channel campaigns to drive end-user demand.
    • Establish and ensure all marketing technology is being fully leveraged and optimized across programs.
    • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to the company’s overall goals. Lead an Agile approach to marketing.
    • Manage annual sales conferences, seminars and meetings. Supervise a team made up of internal and external resources to ensure we maintain process, brand compliance and message
    • Prepare and monitor the Marketing budget.

III. Requirements:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with five (5) years of experience in Strategic Marketing, marketing operations, and demand generation.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a business to business marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.
  • Proficiency in a CRM tool (Salesforce.com) and Marketing Automation (Pardot)
